Hi, I’m Preeti, the founder of Lunch Joy, and like many Australian mums, I know the chaos of mornings all too well. Getting the kids ready, making breakfast, packing lunch boxes, rushing to work — it’s a full-time job before the day even starts.

One morning, as I hurried to pack my son’s lunch, he looked at me and said, “Mum, please don’t use this lunch box again. I don’t like it.” That moment stopped me. It wasn’t just about the lunch box — it was about what it stood for. The cheap plastic felt flimsy, the compartments leaked, and I realised… I was settling for less because the good ones were too expensive. That’s when the idea of Lunch Joy was born.

I wanted to create safe, high-quality, kid-friendly lunch gear — made from non-toxic, food-safe materials that parents could trust, and kids would love. But most importantly, I wanted it to be affordable, so every family could have access to products that make life easier and safer without breaking the budget.

From that day, my mission has been simple:
